Meet Laurence Barksdale Horton

Following his significant career in retail and mixed-use development and leasing for America’s top Real Estate Investment Trusts, landlords and developers. Laurence B. “Larry” Horton founded Horton Realty Advisors, LLC (Horton RA) in 1997. Today, HortonRA provides consulting and brokerage services to institutional investors, high net-worth individuals and families, developer owners and retailers.

Representing investors and landlords across the globe, Horton Realty Advisors consult on commercial, multi-family, retail and mixed-use projects under consideration for acquisition or development.

The firm's philosophy and success are based on developing successful relationships, understanding the needs and dreams of all parties involved and negotiating profitable deals. With a presence in the greater New York City and Southampton, NY markets since 1993, Larry Horton offer his clients a full-service, local operation with daily coverage of that critical marketplace. In 2015, the firm opened its Houston office to extend client support and influence to this dynamic growth market as well as Texas at large. Horton RA’s footprint in the Lone Star State now includes an investment sales platform for all property types, including but not limited to, land, multifamily, land, office, hotel/lodging and retail.
